This Easter Sunday, April 4th is the Big Dipper Trail Ride, an epic day for the whole Family to come & enjoy!

Dirtbikes, Quads, UTV's, Buggies are all welcome!
Most "Hard" & all "Expert" trails will be for Bikes Only!
We'll have two 30 - 40km "Easy" loops with many "Hard" & "Expert Only" bike loops branching off & back to the "Easy"
The most amazing views of Southland, even the highest Waterfall, with many Hill Climbs, Forest sections, an MX Track & the all important PeeWee track for the little ones still too small to take on a massive 30 or 40km ride.
We might even set up a Flat Track for the Quads, UTV's & Buggies, if we get enough interest in it
Tickets will be Cheap so you can buy the food & drinks you want from a selection of Tasty Foods available all day at Great prices
This is a fundraiser for the Dipton Fire Brigade, so all proceeds will go towards building a much needed new Shed
We'll also be celebrating Dipton Rural Fire Brigade's 50th Anniversary at this momentous event!
Dipton is right in the middle of Southland, only a short drive from anywhere in Southland & even Otago! Less than 2 hours from Queenstown, less than 3 from Dunedin, only 50min from Invercargill or Te Anau, so we're expecting a good turnout.
The trails will run through many local farms offering some very diverse terrain, from fast farm tracks to single tracks across huge rolling paddocks to recently harvested GNARLY Forestry Trails to Huge Steep Hill Climbs to countless Stream & Creek crossings to Rocky Outcrops to Mud Pools to Quarries to Native Forest to Sandpits, you name it & we'll be serving it up!
This is the first of a new era of Dipton Trail Rides, the first in a Decade! So come join us for a great time this Easter Sunday!
Unlike most Trail Rides, this one will have some awesome Spectators viewing points of huge Hill Climbs or the MX Track.
Gratis drinking water will be available, bring your own cup or bottle or pack, stay hydrated.
Very affordable & Tasty food & drinks will be for sale all day.
This is a charity event put on by the Dipton Volunteer Rural Fire Brigade to help finance their much needed new Shed.
Your Bike, Quad, UTV or Buggy MUST be in good order, safe & reliable.
Breakdowns will only be cleared off the side of the track at the end of the day.
