Burt Munro Challenge 2024 - 7th Feb 2024 to 11th Feb 2024

Following the success of the 2005 movie about Burt Munro's inspirational life - "The World's Fastest Indian", the Southland Motorcycle Club created the Burt Munro Challenge to honour Burt, his ingenuity, determination and love of speed and motorcycles.
Engines will start on Wednesday 7 February with the Southland Honda Track Day. The Challenge is held across five days of racing including the Star Insurance NZ Hill Climb Champs, Indian Motorcycle Twilight Drag Racing, Indian Motorcycle Beach Racing & NZ Champs, Super Seller Shelley Speedway, and of course the E Hayes & Sons Teretonga Sprint Races & NZ Superbike Championships.
Jam-packed with a variety of exciting events, fantastic entertainment and famous southern hospitality, the Burt Munro Challenge returns again this summer to celebrate its 17th year!
